Water dripped out of my humidifier unit and one of the circuit boards for the furnace got destroyed. It was 16 F outside when I woke up and the temp in the house was 60 F and dropping. Called Elkhorn afterhours and a technician was onsite within 2 hours diagnosing and repairing the equipment. Everything was still within the 10 year purchase date so I was on the hook for labor only. While the tech was here he performed a routine service and lumped in a service plan to include next year's furnace service, next summers AC service, and an electrical/water heater check. Repaired the solenoid that controls the flow of water to the humidifier and was on his way. GREAT customer care. Explained what he was doing, what was wrong, and what would be needed to get the furnace up and running. Can't say enough for these guys, I've only had the one emergency since my purchase, and they were on it.Thanks Elkhorn.

Man, they are the best, every single employee we have met. Most recently, our furnace broke in -4 weather, they came after 5pm, worked on it until 9. Got the furnace back running and tried to prevent pipes busting but unfortunately one of them did. The following day, they were back out at 8AM in the morning trying to figure out the leak in our old 1890s victorian home.In addition to emergencies, we’ve bought 2 ministers from them, an ac unit, a waterless tank heater and a new furnace tomorrow!They let us know how much time we have left in our furnace and we’re able to fix it but we opted for just changing it so we don’t keep spending $500-1,000 in emergency services while risking a flooded basement every time temperature drops below 32.GREAT PEOPLE!!!

In 2019 Elkhorn replaced our A/C, furnace and water heater and we could not be more pleased. Justin and Eli arrived on time, as scheduled on one of the coldest, snowiest October days on record and did not stop working until the new furnace and water heater were up and running. The next morning they returned, in continuing terrible weather, with Kyler, to complete the project and button everything up.I highly recommend Elkhorn! Kudos to their entire staff!In January of 2025, the water heater gas control valve failed. Nick came out first thing on a below zero Monday morning, swapped in a new valve unit and we were back in business. No muss, no fuss. I continue to highly recommend Elkhorn!
