Updated: 05/17/26: Updating my review as a result of completing the recommendations made by Andrew Mares, Elkhorn electrician. Andrew completed everything expertly and as expected. He addressed all our questions again and completed a walk through of his work completed before he left. He is definitely a hard-worker and very focused while working. And cleaned up where he was working prior to leaving as well. We are extremely pleased again with his work. As well as with Elkhorn's support staff in arranging the requested work.
Update: 04/28/26 - We recently had Elkhorn electrician Andrew Mares complete a whole house electrical inspection; plus quote a list of electrical items we were interested in having completed. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable; provided great customer service and provided excellent recommendations as well. His no pressure approach was refreshing. We have gone ahead and scheduled the work he recommended plus a few items we wanted to complete as well. His level of electrical knowledge is extremely impressive; as well as his professionalism. HIs positive attitude regarding his trade and Elkhorn; demonstrated a lot of pride. This is the type of tradesperson we want working on our home.
Prior Review: We have used Elkhorn off and on for several years. Specifically to 'fix' things that other HVAC companies did incorrectly in our home. Last year we finally prepaid for one of their service memberships and we are glad we did. If we were always going to use them to fix things; why not just use them to maintain and service our HVAC equipment annually and when needed. They are extremely thorough in any of their services completed. Maintaining and servicing our furnace and a/c have been nothing but a positive experience. Their technicians are extremely professional and knowledgeable. And they are service technicians only and not sales people. Refreshing. Zakee has completed annual maintenance on both our A/C and furnace and has done a terrific job. Extremely thorough, knowledgeable adn professional. Everyone we have interacted with at Elkhorn makes us feel like a valued customer and our business is appreciated. Management, technicians, support staff, etc. Amazing in this day and time! Very glad to have them as our HVAC company! And they do plumbing and electrical too!
