Updated review: Miguel performed our electrical inspection today. He was great! He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. I appreciated him putting everything in plain, easy to understand language that any homeowner could understand. This inspection, which is included with the membership, is very thorough and gives us peace of mind that the electrical is operating properly. Definitely worth the membership price. Awesome job!

We have used Elkhorn for thermostat issues and a new furnace. Their service providers are knowledgeable and polite. I would not hesitate to use them again

I was an idiot, but Alec never once made me feel like it. I had called Elkhorn to fix a leak in a section of outdoor piping that feeds my sprinkler system. When he arrived, I turn the water on so he could see the leak. He quickly bent down and tightened the low point drain valve and the leak stopped. I didn’t know there was a drain valve!! Thank you Elkhorn for fixing my non-problem and not even charging a house call fee!

Andrew was amazing to work with. He was knowledgeable and efficient. Not only did he solve our electrical issue in minutes he did it with the upmost professionalism and a smile. With Elkhorn we always know we are in good hands. Thanks again Andrew!

Andrew came out to give me estimate on electrical job. Polite, friendly, even checked a smoke alarm for me that kept going off. Andrew came back today to do that electrical job. Just a really great person, Elkhorn is fortunate to have such a great employee!

Ryan visited to perform an annual inspection of my plumbing, as well as my water softener. He explained clearly the water softener operation, and went through his plumbing inspection for the whole house throughly and efficiently. A++++

My original review is below, this is an update. I have continued to use Elkhorn for all my HVAC needs over the last two years and they are still #1 in my book! Most recently, I have had a technical problem with my Nest thermostat, a problem I struggled with over 3 days trying to fix. I tried help from AI and a few tech experts but itching worked. I called Elkhorn and they immediately sent Zack N to my home. In a matter of minutes he figured out the problem and fixed it…no charge! Service like that is extremely rare and I highly encourage you to try them out. My original review is below: I am new to the area and my furnace fan went out overnight. I needed it fixed the next day but was leaving for the airport at 1:00. I located Elkhart in a service directory ad provided to me when I moved in and called at 8 AM. Believe it or not, their technician Jacob was at my door at 9:00! That’s unheard of in a business where most HVAC providers are doing you a favor by answering their phone. Jacob assessed the problem, drove over an hour to get the replacement fan, returned and installed the new part before noon! Jacob and Elkhart saved the day for me and have a new loyal customer. Yes, there still are a few service providers who put customer needs first.

Andrew was on time, did an awesome job diagnosing and fixing our electrical issue. We will definitely call Elkhorn again and ask for Andrew!!!

My furnace humidifier failed right before I had to leave for an overseas trip. Alex showed up a couple of hours after I called Elkhorn. He diagnosed the problem, gave me some repair and replacement options, obtained and installed a new unit. He was efficient and professional, and also a really good guy. The whole thing couldn’t have gone better.

As always, Elkhorn came through for us yesterday on a plumbing issue we had. Nick had come out previously and diagnosed the problem and gave us an estimate. We needed to have our water supply lines re-piped due to an error the original home builder made when building our home. Nick was courteous, did a terrific job, and was right on target with the final bill which matched the estimate he gave us. In addition he completed all the work in a much shorter time than I would have imagined, given the complexity of the job. Just like every other time we have used Elkhorn we couldn't be more pleased with the result. I highly recommend them.

Justin was polite and respectful of our home. He was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to ensure the service was done right. I highly recommend Elkhorn for your electrical needs.

We came home to no heat, hot water , other areas of house off. We have some complicated systems. We called Elkhorn Plumbing and Heating. They responded in minutes. As we explained things they consulted within departments and called back offering us an immediate electrician or we could wait til daylight. We chose that as we thought a workman would do better in the daylight and we had our wood stove and electric heater. Andrew is a very qualified and of course licensed electrician but also very intuitive. He has some construction background and it helps him in figuring out things. We also liked him very much as a person. The price was reasonable. Andrew said that he liked the fact that they charge by the hour and don’t try to upsell. However we did bring up and ask about future quote for a new hot tub circuit. Not necessary now but might change in the future. Again we were very pleased with Elkhorn Plumbing and Heating’s quick and knowledgeable and caring communication about our emergency. Andrew was the perfect person to send for our situation.
