Bryan Lefever at Elkhorn came out to diagnose a problem we were having with our furnace during the coldest days this winter where it would not hold temperature. After a very thorough inspection and maintenance of our furnace, he was able to tell us the primary problem was related to the filters we were using and the output of white dust from our ultrasonic humidifiers clogging up the filters faster than expected. Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills were impeccable and it's great to have the furnace working again.

Mike was great! He came by for my annual spring service and was professional and kind the entire time. He thoroughly inspected the system and got it ready for the summer.

Elkhorn has been my go-to for all things HVAC for years now.

Today, during my regular spring HVAC service, Jacob (who did a great job with my HVAC) noticed some issues with my aging hot water heater. A few hours later, Mike and Bryan were here with a brand new one and had it installed super-fast. (Plus, they were highly entertaining while performing the work...)

Caiden came today to resolve an issue with our AC unit that wasn’t working properly. He was courteous, knowledgeable, solved the problem and did the annual maintenance too. Great service like usual from Elkhorn!

He was prompt, professional, explained what he would do, completed the tasks, left me a new filter as I had just replaced my filter 2 weeks ago and he was friendly.

We called Elk Horn LATE on a Saturday night, about our AC running all day, and a hot home!

We received a phone call back from our technician, Zack, and he walked me through what could be wrong, and gave us pointers to be comfortable that night, and scheduled a time early Sunday morning to come out to our home. He stayed until it was working and we talked through changes that could be made to improve the air flow, but was not forced to make any changes, or do any kind of service that we weren’t ready for or needing to do.

He was honest, and helpful, and we are grateful for his time and service, especially on a weekend! We would recommend Elk Horn to anyone needing HVAC services, and we will use them in the future for any HVAC needs.

Had a great experience with Elkhorn heating and AC. Our furnace went out when it was -5 and Elkhorn was able to send a team immediately, give us multiple options for replacement and work with us on pricing to provide us the best possible system. Both Mike, Justin and the whole team were professional, prompt and clearly communicated with us through the entire process.

Elkhorn installed two furnaces, two AC units and a steam humidifier in our home in two days. Their technicians were knowledgeable and professional and did quality work. The workers were friendly and respectful. They put protective covering on our floors and wore booties on their feet when working in our house. We are looking forward to enjoying the new equipment which we are confident will work well.

12/10/2024. Zack came on time and replaced a Aprilaire humidifier canister that had “Service” light on. He quickly assessed problem and replaced the part (he even had in in his truck).

He also inspected the humidifier for possible recall issue. He showed me that my humidifier component was newer version not needing replacement.

Very smooth experience. Would gladly use his services again.

We use Zack because he is certified to work on our Arzel HVAC zoning system. It is not something that many HVAC techs know about. We continue to use Zack and Elkhorn because they have high level of training and knowledge. Professional at all times. Pleasant to work with.

It was time to do maintenance on my air conditioning. Caiden came to check it out. He was a great communicator and thorough in his job. He tested the equipment and included some suggestions for upgrading in his review. I feel confident with the work that Elkhorn does.

I have never used Elkhorn before, however I have seen their vehicles and saw they were one of a very few companies listed on the Trane website. My furnace unexpectedly quit. My standard go to company didn’t respond after an hour so I decided to call Elkhorn. My call was answered quickly in person and was put on a floater schedule for service the very same day. Caiden diagnosed the problem as a faulty blower motor and was willing to travel over two hours round trip (rush hour, bad weather) to get the part and work into the early evening. Luckily, he checked another supplier and was back installing the part in about an hour. Caiden was professional, friendly, and gave me confidence that the job was completed correctly by a trained technician. I think their level of service and my satisfaction has earned Elkhorn as my new go-to HVAC company.

Loved this company! I had bought their "Whole House Comfort Plan" after a neighbor’s referral (they even gave both of us a discount for that). Cambria sent a text about the date they were coming the day before and then called to let me know Jacob was on his way! Jacob did a thorough review on my furnace and found something on my furnace that needed immediate attention and then checked my air conditioning. Very professional job, once again!! Thank you Elkhorn!
